- PE series jaw crusher: Primary coarse crushing, large feeding opening, wide discharge gap, break large raw mine blocks.
- PEW fine jaw crusher: Secondary medium-fine crushing, relatively small feeding inlet, narrow adjustable discharge opening; process medium-size stones into finished medium and fine aggregate.

- Cannot be used as primary crushing for large raw ore blocks
The feeding opening of PEW fine jaw is relatively small. Directly feeding large mine raw ore will cause frequent cavity blockage and overload fracture of toggle plate. It must be equipped with a primary coarse crusher in front.
- Poor shaping effect compared with impact crusher
If the project requires high cubicity aggregate for high-grade highway surface layer, PEW fine jaw is recommended to cooperate with impact crusher for shaping, cannot be used alone to produce high-standard surface aggregate.
- Not recommended for production of ultra-fine powder below 5mm
The minimum discharge opening of fine jaw has a lower limit; long-term operation under extremely narrow gap will sharply increase jaw plate wear. Fine powder processing is more suitable for hammer mill or vertical shaft impact crusher.
- Strictly prohibit metal foreign matter entering the crushing cavity
Although equipped with toggle plate overload protection, frequent metal impact will cause permanent deformation of jaw plates and frame.
