Mini laboratory jaw crusher, also known as lab small jaw crusher, is a miniature crushing equipment specially designed for laboratory sample preparation. Different from industrial crushing machines, it focuses on small feeding volume, uniform sample granularity, easy cleaning and low pollution, widely used in scientific research laboratories, mining testing centers, universities, geological exploration institutions and factory quality inspection departments.

1. Applicable Material Types

Suitable raw materials

  • Hard and medium-hard brittle materials: granite, basalt, quartz stone, ore, iron ore, limestone, dolomite, fluorite, barite, coal, coke, mineral slag, rock core samples
  • Solid non-metallic minerals: ceramic raw materials, glass fragments, refractory materials
  • Metallurgical raw materials: alloy blocks, mineral concentrates

Materials NOT recommended

  • Soft, viscous materials (clay, wet mud, asphalt): easy adhesion inside the crushing cavity, block discharge and cause cross contamination
  • Fibrous, tough materials (wood, rubber): cannot be effectively squeezed and crushed
  • Extra high hardness materials exceeding equipment compressive strength limit, easy to wear jaw plates severely

3. Working Parameter Application Scope

  1. Feeding size: Normally 20–80mm (depends on different mini models); large lump samples need pre-breaking before feeding.
  2. Discharge size adjustment range: Generally 1–10 mm. After crushing, materials can directly enter laboratory ball mill, pulverizer for fine grinding.
  3. Feeding capacity: Low throughput, usually 5–50 kg/h. It is only for sample preparation, not for continuous production.

  3. Must avoid metal impurities entering the crushing chamber to prevent jaw plate damage
  4. Not suitable for explosive, flammable materials unless equipped with special explosion-proof configuration
